Grand Opening of Primes in Long Beach

I did not make it down to the grand opening of Primes in Long Beach last night, but my Boy About Town did!! Here is what he had to say:

"Well Kiddies I just walked in the door after what has got to be one of the best nights out that I have had in ages! As promised my friend Mary and I popped in at the Grand Opening of Primes in Long Beach! http://www.primeskitchen.com/ I am in no way going overboard (as some people have said I can do) when I tell you all that from the moment I stepped in to Primes I truly thought I had returned to South Beach! Masoud Majdi has accomplished what few others have been able to do! He has brought to us an fusion of big city glam and a uber hipster vibe! The crowd was a great mix of what was, what is and what is coming! We nibbled on a large sampling of Executive Chef, Thomas Bader's tasty bits....get your minds outta the gutter (although Thom was a cutie)! The interior was by far and away the most dramatic of anyof the downtown eaterys! The stunning setting was fabulous for showing some lovely, colorful works by Allen!
