BBQ in Long Beach

The newly-formed North Alamitos Beach Association (NABA)will celebrate its official launch this Saturday, April 26, with a barbeque, activities for children and prize drawings from 11am – 2pm. The event will be held as part of the Community Police Center’s Open House, located at 1004 E. 7th Street. The area represented by NABA is bordered by Alamitos and Cherry, 4th and 7th Streets. The event is an open invitation for anyone within the organization’s limits to come and meet neighbors, talk to city representatives, and enjoy food and prizes. For kids, there will be fingerpainting, bike repair tips and even a visit from Herbie the Talking Car.
